Agartala, May 24 -- The High Court of Tripura has ruled that a daughter who obtained divorce after her father's death is not eligible to receive family pension under the Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pension) Rules, 2017.
In the case of Ujjala Rani Paul vs Agartala Municipal Corporation, Justice S Datta Purkayastha observed that the claimant's legal status at the time of the pensioner's death is crucial for determining eligibility in accordance with the pension regulations.
