Agartala, July 25 -- Tripura government has launched 50 Mini Mobile Veterinary Units (MMVUs) to strengthen animal healthcare in rural areas of the state.
Animal Resources Development Minister Sudhangshu Das, after flagging off the vehicles, said BJP government has made animal husbandry a way to build rural wealth and create jobs.
These 50 new units will bring treatment, shots, and diagnosis to remote parts of Tripura. Das noted that the 2024-25 state budget funded these units. They are now at block-level offices to help farmers in hard-to-reach spots.
