Agartala, Aug. 10 -- Tripura has made impressive advancements in organic farming, with approximately 47,000 farmers now actively involved in this practice.
The state achieved a significant milestone by successfully exporting 1,000 kg of organic honey to the UAE for the first time on Monday.
During the International Organic Buyer-Seller Meet, the Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath highlighted the participation of 20 international buyers from countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Egypt, South Korea, Italy, Argentina, Germany, Greece, and the Philippines.
