Agartala, June 7 -- In light of union Home Minister Amit Shah's recent directives during his visit, the Tripura administration has initiated an investigation into the significant investments that have flowed into the state over the last five years.
According to sources in the state administration, Shah stressed the importance of closely scrutinising financial activities near the borders, alongside monitoring construction projects and property transactions in the area.
The instruction came during a meeting focused on border-related concerns, held at the BSF Tripura Frontier headquarters in Agartala last week.
