Agartala, July 11 -- Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath on Saturday flagged off a consignment of organic products for export to Gulf nations through Lulu Retail in Dubai, the largest comprehensive retail marketing organisation in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
With a strong presence across six GCC countries, Lulu Retail sources high-quality agricultural and food products from more than 85 countries worldwide. Tripura's inclusion of its organic produce in the sales network of such a prestigious organisation is a significant achievement for the state, Nath said.
