Agartala, June 19 -- A delegation of Tripura Youth Congress (TYC), headed by its president Neel Kamal Saha, met with Tripura Human Rights Commission (THRC) on Friday to demand action against a CRPF assistant commandant accused of mistreating Congress protestors during a demonstration earlier this week.
The delegation called for disciplinary measures against Assistant Commandant Ram Kumar, who allegedly assaulted and injured 12 TYC activists participating in a peaceful protest outside the Chief Minister's residence.
