Agartala, June 5 -- Highlighting the Central government's unwavering support for the development of Tripura, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha suggested positioning the North Eastern region as India's Green Industrial Hub,Addressing the 73rd Plenary Session of NEC in Shillong on Thursday, Dr Saha suggested strategic opportunities in priority sectors, identified challenges, and outlined mitigation measures for economic growth across the region for investment promotion in the Northeast. He pressed for a direct flight between Agartala and Chittagong, fast-tracking the Badarpur-Sabroom double-line railway project, and granting a 40 per cent rebate on natural gas prices.
