Agartala, July 12 -- Tripura Chief Minister, Dr Manik Saha, has accused certain suspended government officials of leaking confidential documents to opposition parties, alleging that the information was subsequently used to mislead the public and launch propaganda campaigns against the state government.

Replying to a query, Dr Saha expressed concern over the breach of official confidentiality, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. The opposition accused the Secretary of CM, retired IAS P K Chakraborty, and Special Secretary, Administrative Reform, Anindya Bhattacharjee, another retired IAS, of possessing disproportionate assets and being involved in administrative malpractices and demanded an enquiry into the charges.
