Agartala, Sept. 12 -- The Crime Branch of the Tripura Police has questioned Bikram Majumdar, nephew of BJP MLA Jitendra Majumdar, in connection with the recent seizure of contraband drugs at Agartala railway station.
Bikram underwent multiple rounds of questioning at NCC Police Station over the past two days as investigators sought to clarify the circumstances surrounding the seizure and determine whether others were involved in the suspected smuggling operation.
Police sources said the investigation is now focused on identifying additional individuals who may be connected to the case. Several arrests have already been made in connection with the seizure.
