Agartala, July 12 -- In a significant victory against drug trafficking, the crime branch of Tripura police successfully intercepted a luxury vehicle.
It confiscated 10,000 Yaba tablets during a special operation at Ranirbazar, near Agartala, yesterday.
According to police, two persons, including a government employee, were arrested in connection with this case. The operation took place in front of the Ranirbazar Fire Station, following specific intelligence regarding the transport of a substantial consignment of narcotics from outside the state.
