Kolkata, June 2 -- Expressing disappointment with his party Trinamool Congress, Member-Mayor-in-Council for Sewerage and Drainage in Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Tarak Singh, submitted his resignation at the civic body headquarters on Tuesday.
On May 26, Singh had expressed disappointment over the party strategies, and demanded change in the top leadership. He had also vocally claimed inaction over monsoon preparedness meetings held by the civic body authorities every year during this time.
