New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Russia does not rule out a new round of trilateral talks on a settlement in Ukraine taking place as early as October, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday, as Moscow and Washington seek to revive negotiations.
"We do not rule out such a possibility; we are talking about the foreseeable future. That is, of course, October cannot be ruled out," Peskov told reporters when asked about the timing of the next round.
Peskov said the possibility of holding another trilateral meeting has been discussed during recent contacts and that Moscow was aligned with US envoy Jared Kushner on the need for further talks."We hope it will take place in the foreseeable future," he said.
