Nahan, July 26 -- On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, tributes were paid to the nation's immortal martyrs at the Martyrs' Memorial at Nahan, the Sirmaur district headquarters, on Sunday.
Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap, Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma, and Superintendent of Police Sirmaur Nischint Singh Negi paid tributes by presenting wreaths.
Priyanka Verma, Deputy Commissioner, Sirmaur, also administered an oath to the gathering for the unity and integrity of the nation. She extended her best wishes for Kargil Vijay Diwas and stated that ''it is because of our brave soldiers that our country's borders remain secure''.
