Dhaka, Oct. 5 -- Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has condemned Sunday's attack on journalists and students at Rajshahi University that left at least 10 people injured, and urged the ruling BNP and opposition Jamaat-e-Islami to rein in student and affiliated groups.
TIB has called for those responsible for the October 4 attack to be held accountable regardless of their political affiliation or influence.
According to media reports, an attack allegedly involving leaders and activists of the BNP's student wing, the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), left at least 10 people injured, including four working campus journalists.
