Jammu, Aug. 19 -- A delegation of Head of Departments, faculty and Office-bearers of University of Jammu, headed by its Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai on Wednesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed important matters pertaining to the growth, development and future academic expansion of the institution.
During the interaction, the University delegation expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor, who is also the Chancellor of the University, for his decisive intervention in securing the transfer of 147 kanals and 11 marlas of land from Defence authorities to the University campus.
