Nashik, Aug. 16 -- In view of the heavy crowds during the Shravan month and the traffic congestion and accidents reported on the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar road on August 15, the Nashik district administration has announced major traffic restrictions on the route.
Private vehicles will now not be allowed beyond Khambale village on the road to Trimbakeshwar. A shuttle bus service will transport devotees from the parking area at Khambale to Trimbakeshwar and back.
The administration expects a large influx of devotees to the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple during the Shravan Mondays.
