Dharamshala, April 9 -- : A vibrant blend of enthusiasm and tradition marked the second day of the historic Dhummu Shah Fair on Thursday, as the traditional wrestling competition (dangal) was formally inaugurated.
Superintendent of Police Ashok Ratna inaugurated the event after performing rituals at the Bharari Mata Temple. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted that wrestling is emerging as a professional sport in India, earning the country recognition at the international level.
