Hyderabad, April 26 -- TPCC Disciplinary Committee Chairman Mallu Ravi on Sunday said notices have been issued to party leaders Hari Prasad and Krishna Kishore following complaints of anti-party activities in Palkurthi constituency during the recent municipal elections.

Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, he said the complaint was lodged by Palkurthi MLA Yashaswini and party in-charge Jhansi Reddy, alleging that both leaders worked against the Congress party. Show-cause notices have now been issued, directing them to submit their explanations within ten days.

Ravi stated that Krishna Kishore informed the committee he is currently in the United States, while Hari Prasad cited a family function for not attending the inquiry.
