Ashok RainaPalampur, Sept. 10 -- Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shanta Kumar has expressed happiness over the successful trial of the toy train at Saurabh Kalia Van Vihar in Palampur, saying its inauguration would soon add a new milestone to the state's tourism sector.
Shanta Kumar said no such toy train was currently operational in any neighbouring state and that he had been making continuous efforts for the project for the past two years.
He thanked the Himachal Pradesh Government and Forest Department for their cooperation, particularly the past and present Divisional Forest Officers of Palampur, who made special efforts to complete the project.
