Siliguri, June 26 -- The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), tour operators and hoteliers have welcomed the Centre's decision to resume tourist visas for Bangladeshi nationals, expressing hope that the move will revive cross-border tourism, strengthen bilateral relations and boost the regional economy.
Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi has announced that tourist visa applications will resume from June 28 through five visa centres, including the one in Dhaka.
