Vijayawada, June 9 -- : Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture K Atchannaidu has informed that the daily market purchases of tobacco has risen to an average of 700 bales per day with the measures taken by the government and coordination between farmers and companies.
Minister Atchannaidu told the media here on Tuesday that the Naidu-headed government is working with full coordination, keeping in mind the current situation faced by Virginia tobacco farmers.
