Chennai, May 3 -- In a surprise move, the ruling DMK, raising apprehensions of law and order problem during counting of votes tomorrow to be allegedly engineered by the BJP, an ally of the main Opposition AIADMK heading the NDA, on Sunday petitioned the Election Commission of India to take preventive measures, put in place heightened security arrangements and uphold the sanctity of the electoral process.
