Chennai, March 28 -- The ruling DMK eyeing for a second successive term to form the Dravidian Model 2.0 government on Saturday unveiled its candidates list for the four-cornered April 23 high-stakes Assesmbly elections, retaining 28 of the 34 Ministers, sans six Ministers and also gave tickets to several of the sitting members and some new faces.

The Ministers who were not given tickets were K Ponmudy, R Gandhi, Ms Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, S M Naser, Rajendran and Mano Thangaraj.

However, the sons of Mr Ponmudy Dr Pon Gautham Sigamani (Thirukovilur) and Gandhi's son Vinod Gandhi (Ranipet), both held by the sitting Ministers.
