Chennai, Aug. 5 -- The government will establish a 'Tamil Nadu Palmyra Development Corporation' (TNPDC) to protect the livelihood of palmyra farmers, Finance Minister N.Marie Wilson informed the State Assembly on Wednesday.
Presenting the TVK government's first budget, he said the TNPDC will be established with an allocation of Rs.16 crore this financial year.
