Chennai, Aug. 30 -- Tamil Nadu School Education, Tamil Development and Information and Publicity Minister A.Rajmohan saida total of 319 people from Tamil Nadu went to Nepal on pilgrimage of them 219 were safe and secure, while efforts are on to trace the remaining 100 pilgrims.
Talking to reporters at the airport upon his return from New Delhi, where he camped along with three other Ministers to expedite the rescue works and ensure safe return of the pilgrims from Tamil Nadu, he said 319 people from Tamil Nadu have gone to Nepal through various groups.
Of them 219 stranded Tamils were rescued and they were safe and secure and efforts are on to trace the remaining 100 pilgrims, he said.
