Chennai, June 14 -- Foreseeing massive potential for the Sivakasi fireworks industry in global markets and to compete with China in exports, Industries and Investment Promotion Minister Ms Keerthana on Sunday said the Tamil Nadu government would unveil a new policy to increase global exports and create new opportunities.
Talking to reporters at Virudhunagar after her maiden successful tour of South Korea where she met top honchos of leading firms to woo investments into the state, she said TN too could achieve in exports on par with China considering the vast potential the Sivakasi fireworks industry has in global markets for a new policy would be unveiled.
