Chennai, July 13 -- The Tamil Nadu government on Monday evening allayed the fears of the people on the possible outbreak of Covid-19 after two people died in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and one in Vellore hospital in TN.
Reacting to reports of two Covid deaths in AP, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine department said a 52-year-old man from the neighbouring state undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Tirupati was shifted to a private hospital in Vellore in TN for advanced treatment on June 26. He had severe Klebsiella pneumoniae Bacteria infection and also had Covid-19 infection. Further, he hasco-morbidities like diabetes and a long history of kidney infection.
