Chennai, March 11 -- The MDMK, one of the long time ally of the ruling DMK-led Front, on Wedensday evening signed the seat sharing pact for the upcoming Assembly elections under which it was allotted four seats as against six in 2021 of which it had won in four.
The constituencies to be contested by MDMK would be identified later.
While the MDMK will contest one seat under its 'Top' symbol, it would face the electorate under the DMK's 'Rising Sun' symbol.
In 2021, the MDMK contested all the six seats under the DMK symbol.
