Kolkata, June 15 -- Trinamool Congress spokesperson Kunal Ghosh was attacked with egg by a protestor near party chairperson Mamata Banerjee's residence at South Kolkata's Kalighat on Monday.
The incident happened when Ghosh was leaving the house after attending a party meet.
The attacker had an angry verbal exchange with Ghosh before he threw the egg at him.
"There are a lot of charges of repression against him. He deserves to be a victim of a rotten egg attack", said the protestor.
