New Delhi, July 18 -- The Trinamool Congress on Saturday accused the BJP-led Centre of adopting contradictory positions on the status of rebel party MPs, with party leader Derek O'Brien alleging that the government was "mocking" India's democratic processes amid the political turmoil following the party's defeat in the recently concluded West Bengal Assembly elections.
In a post on social media platform X, O'Brien wrote, "CHEATING. Mocking our democracy. (Lok Sabha) Speaker has referred to 20 traitors as still being TMC MPs.
