Buldhana/Mumbai, Oct. 19 -- : Maharashtra Congress president Harshwardhan Sapkal today questioned the state government's handling of organised crime and challenged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to secure the transfer of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to Mumbai for interrogation into a series of attacks allegedly linked to his gang.
In a statement, Sapkal said the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff had once again raised serious concerns over law and order in Maharashtra.
Two armed men allegedly opened fire in Mumbai's Juhu area on Sunday evening. The Bishnoi gang subsequently claimed responsibility in an unverified social media post. Shroff escaped unhurt, while his driver and another person sustained injuries.
