Bengaluru, Sept. 14 -- With nearly two years to go for the 2028 Karnataka Assembly elections, ticket anxiety and the search for "winnable" constituencies are triggering a fresh round of political realignment, with leaders across the Congress, BJP and JD(S) quietly assessing the possibility of switching sides.
Unlike conventional defections driven by ideological differences, the emerging churn is increasingly centred on one question -- which party offers the best chance of securing a ticket and winning the next election.
