Hyderabad, March 29 -- Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places across Telangana over the next seven days, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In its daily weather report, the Met department stated that winds with speeds of 40-50 kmph or 30-40 kmph may accompany the thunderstorms during this period. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also expected at isolated places across the state.
The report indicated that maximum temperatures are likely to rise gradually by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next three days, and thereafter remain around normal for the following four days.
