Hyderabad, July 23 -- Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are expected in several districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours , the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
Winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are likely at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours.
In its daily weather report, the Centre said strong surface winds with speeds of up to 30-40 kmph are also likely to prevail at isolated places across the state over the next seven days.
