Hyderabad, Oct. 19 -- An upper-air cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Tamil Nadu coast, extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level, was reported by the Meteorological Centre on Monday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph at isolated places in Telangana over the next three days. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are also likely at isolated places across the State during the same period.
Dry weather is likely to prevail over Telangana from October 22 to 25, the report said.
Rain occurred at one or two places in the State during the past 24 hours, it added.
