Panchkula, June 3 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds at isolated places across Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh till June 7, with wind speeds likely to reach 50-60 kmph on June 4 and 5 and 40-50 kmph on June 6 and 7.
According to the Evening Weather Bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre, Chandigarh, light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places in Punjab and Haryana during the past 24 hours.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds were also reported at isolated places in Punjab.
