Kochi, Oct. 11 -- Three young people, including two women, were killed when a speeding luxury car rammed into their scooter on the VIP Road at Athani near Nedumbassery, with police launching an investigation into suspected drunk driving and alleged reckless behaviour by the 18-year-old driver.
The deceased were identified as Devika (21), a native of Wayanad, Gopika (22), from Palakkad, and Ijaz (21), from South Karnataka. They were working part-time at an antique shop in Thrikkakara while pursuing aviation studies, according to the information available.
