Chennai, Oct. 3 -- Three workers died of asphyxiation after they inhaled a toxic gas while working in a newly built septic tank at a house under construction at Senthurai in Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu last evening.
Police said the deceased were identfied as Dinakaran (60), Baskar (45) and Ramachandran.
Report said the owner M.Subramanian was constructing a house at Vallalar Nagar on the Sendurai-Udayarpalayam main road. After construction the septic tank, Dinakaran and Baskar were engaged in removing the wooden boards and poles from it which were for support while constructing the tank, and Ramachandran was helping them from outside.
