Thiruvananthapuram, June 14 -- Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Sunday strongly criticised the participation of three Vice-Chancellors in a public meeting addressed by Mohan Bhagwat as part of the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), describing it as a serious lapse unbecoming of their offices.
In a Facebook post, Satheesan said the presence of the Vice-Chancellors at the event was a matter of grave concern and did not reflect Kerala's rich educational legacy or the dignity attached to the position of Vice-Chancellor.
He said the people of Kerala hold the office of Vice-Chancellor in high esteem and alleged that the academics had undermined that respect by participating in a programme led by an RSS leader...
