Chandigarh, June 3 -- A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court has convicted three students associated with a terror module of the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH) for waging war against the nation and orchestrating a terrorist conspiracy.

The court will pronounce their sentences on June 4 via video conferencing, while a fourth accused, Suhail Ahmad Bhat, was acquitted due to a lack of sufficient evidence.

The convicts, identified as Zahid Gulzar, Yasir Rafiq Bhat, and Mohammad Idris Shah, were found guilty under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Arms Act, the Explosive Substances Act, and the Indian Penal Code, including criminal conspiracy.
