Mancherial (Telangana), July 2 -- : Three workers were injured in an accident at the SRP-3 underground mine in the Srirampur area of Mancherial district on Thursday after a side wall collapsed while they were working inside the mine.
The injured workers -- Sampath Kumar, Mahender and Ravikumar-were shifted to the Singareni Area Hospital for treatment.
In a release, Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna , who reviewed the incident, spoke to senior officials of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident and whether any negligence was involved.
