Jalgaon, April 19 -- In a tragic road accident on a national highway near Borgaon Budruk in Jalgaon, three members of a family were killed after their car crashed into an electric pole in the early hours, police said.
The victims were returning to their hometown Warangaon (Bhusawal taluka) after visiting the Mahakal temple in Ujjain when the accident occurred.
The deceased have been identified as Shyam Vikram Thakur (45), Shobha Vikram Thakur (60) and Shivanya Shyam Thakur (5), all residents of Warangaon Factory area.
According to preliminary information, Shyam Thakur was driving the car when he allegedly dozed off near Borgaon Budruk at dawn, causing the vehicle to go out of control and crash at high speed into a roadside electric pole....
