New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- The Ram Temple Trust in Ayodhya on Wednesday appointed three new trustees, including Mahesh Bhagchandka, a 68-year-old Delhi-based businessman, author, and philanthropist with strong bonds to Hindu cultural and heritage .
Bhagchandka's association with the Ram Mandir goes back to the temple's historic milestones. He and his wife served as Yajmans during the Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, participating in the foundational rituals of the historic ceremony.
The inclusion of Mahesh Bhagchandka is expected to bring to the Trust a combination of business experience, social service, cultural advocacy and a deep-rooted association with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
