Jammu, March 27 -- More than three lakh pilgrims paid obeisance during the nine-day-long Navratras at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra town in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Concurrently, a nine-day long Shat Chandi Maha Yagya, organized by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) during Navratras for world peace, harmony, prosperity and the well-being of humanity, also concluded today on the occasion of Ram Navami at the holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi.
The Shrine Board official said that the Navratra period witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees, as over three lakh pilgrims paid obeisance at the shrine.
