New Delhi, April 15 -- In a tragic incident, three people were killed after a massive fire broke out at a plastic waste storage godown in the Budh Vihar area of Outer Delhi, fire official said on Wednesday.
According to information, the victims were members of a family that had been living in a makeshift shanty inside the godown located in Mange Ram Park area of Budh Vihar.
The incident occurred during the intervening night when a fire erupted in the scrap material stored at the site and quickly spread to the shanty.
Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by morning after hours of operation.
