Chhapra, March 11 -- At least three people were killed in separate road accidents during the past 24 hours Saran.
Police said here on Wednesday that Harendra Mahto (55), a resident of Taraiya village under Taraiya police station area, was returning home after closing his shop at Rambagh when he was hit by a motorcycle on the Taraiya-Mashrak State Highway.
He sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken to the Referral Hospital, where he died during treatment.
In another accident near Sangrampur village under the same police station area, Sanjit Nat (45) was injured after being hit by an uncontrolled Scorpio vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries at Referral Hospital.
