Panchkula, June 15 -- Three people, including a woman, were killed and more than 12 others injured when a private passenger bus overturned in a field between Amani and Bhodi villages in Haryana's Fatehabad district on Monday morning, police said.

The 52-seater bus, operated by Vishal Tour and Travel, was on its way from Fatehabad to Tohana when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.

According to police officials, the deceased have not yet been identified. The injured passengers were rushed to the Civil Hospital in Tohana, where several are reported to be in serious condition.
