Chennai, June 25 -- Three people were injured in a blast at a defunct private cracker manufacturing unit at Sengamalapatti village near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
Police said a spark from a cigaratte bud thrown by some people would have resulted in a fire following which the cracker wastes lying in the premises exploded, injuring three people, who came to the unit.
