Shimla, April 20 -- Nurpur police have arrested three youths and recovered 70 grams of heroin (chitta) during routine patrolling in Nurpur in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
Nurpur Police district Superintendent of Police Kulbhushan Verma said that a police team of CIA-I, Police district Nurpur, was on routine patrolling duty on Monday, when it received specific information at Bhadroya toll barrier about three persons suspected to be carrying contraband near Durga Mata Temple at Damtal.
Acting swiftly, the police along with independent witnesses and reached the spot, where the three accused were found standing near a black Splendor motorcycle.
