Patna, May 28 -- At least three people drowned and four others went missing after a boat capsized in the Ganga River in the Patna district this morning.
According to police, 14 people were on board the boat and were heading towards the Diara area for vegetable farming when the vessel overturned midstream under the Barh police station area.
Three persons died due to drowning in the incident, while seven others swam to safety. Four people remain missing. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
